We at ITCHS are grateful for the opportunity to share with the aging services community what we have discovered through humor testing of residents and caregivers at Lake Winona Manor in Winona, Minnesota, and  and also at Missions Nursing Home in Plymouth, Minnesota. And we would appreciate opportunities to work with staff of particular residential facilities to explore ways to apply these discoveries to their facilities.

At the same time, we are aware that there are many kinds of humor, many different preferences, and a variety of personalities among the aging.

We are anxious, therefore, to expand our research to other facilities to include other aging populations.  We are also anxious to explore different forms of humor, particularly Vitalist humor.

We invite any facility interested in cooperating in such a research consultantship to contact us at ragrawe@hbci.com.
